Our Community Action Group has already been working on the Save WLMH initiative.

Here is what they have to report:

Productive Meeting

The Community Action Group has learned that a productive meeting occurred yesterday between the Medical Advisory Group and our valued partner, Hamilton Health Sciences, regarding the proposed closure of hospital services. The groups agreed to continue their constructive dialogue.

January Deadline Removed

We are pleased to report that the January deadline for the transfer of obstetrics and surgical services has been removed, which was a major concern of the community.

Highest Level of Patient Safety

We understand that all parties are working toward a solution that ensures the highest level of patient safety, while maintaining the services that West Lincoln Memorial Hospital currently provides.

We Are Encouraged

The Community Action Group is encouraged with the progress that is currently being made. We will continue to update the public and work toward the end goal of a long needed hospital rebuild.

It Is Worth Fighting For!

West Lincoln Memorial Hospital is an exceptional place with extraordinary people and staff. It is worth fighting for!
