A GoFundMe account has been set up for the SaveWLMH Community Action Group (CAG). The CAG has set a goal for their GoFundMe of $15,000, to match the funds contributed by the Towns of Lincoln, West Lincoln, and Grimsby. Funds raised here for SaveWLMH will be used to support communication expenses, media, supplies, signage and any other community action activities that are undertaken to help us save the hospital from closure or service cuts, and ensure an urgent, confirmed commitment to the rebuild is secured. Contributions can be made by community members, businesses, groups and individuals.
GoFundMe accounts are not able to issue tax receipts. However, full financial and public reporting on the account will be overseen by Amanda Pyper, CPA, CA throughout the fund duration. Any funds generated that remain at the end of this campaign will be given to the WLMH Foundation in support of the new build of WLMH.
